What is the TMS Wood Stove all about?
This stove has been on the market for nearly a decade, so a wealth of information is available. Only on Amazon will you find over a thousand customer reviews.
To begin with, this is a simple military-style design, and its elements are illustrated in the image below. They all fit within the stove and are easily transportable.

This is a cylinder-type rolled steel development, and the cross-section is a circle. The stove is designed for wood burning, and its structure makes it ideal for heating rather than cooking. This becomes clear when you look down at the stovetop. Because it is spherical, placing a pot on it results in poor contact and reduced cooking efficiency.

It has two side racks that can be folded to create a flat space over the stove, as shown in the image below. However, this is not the optimum design for practical cooking in this scenario since there is no complete contact with the pot.

Racks folded for cooking.
To shift the stove from one location to another, raise the frames that support the racks and use them as handles, as shown in the image below:

The two strange heat tubes on the sides are detached and may be utilised for cooking something within. They are just cylinders with both ends open. However, even though it has been coated steel, it will rust with time, so what can you do with those tubes? They simply increase the stove’s overall heated surface area, enhancing heating capability.
The same goes for those racks; you don’t want to dry your clothes on them if they rust. The four legs, as seen in the image with the parts above, are detachable and measure 15.5 inches (39 cm) in length.
I know the door used to have a small glass window, but it is no longer there. So you now have an air intake and three closable holes in the door.
The stove has four interconnecting pipe pieces measuring 17 inches (43 cm). There is no spark arrestor, but there is a top cap instead. Bottom access to clean ash is also available.
Fuel type: You can burn wood, pellets, charcoal, or anything combustible.
Who is it intended for?
Regarding heating capacity, It is quite difficult to predict heating capacity. The stove is really small. This is evident compared to similar stoves that burn wood, such as the Camp Chef Alpine Wood Stove CS14 or the Timberline Wood Stove Package.
This pipe diameter is even more problematic, measuring barely 2.5 inches (6.35 cm). This is roughly half the diameter of the previously described two stoves. However, this is the same size as the Winnerwell Woodlander Medium stove. On the other hand, the firebox in this TMS stove is twice as huge, and it would operate better with a broader pipe.
The weight of 24.25 lb (11 kg) may appear heavy, but it is typical for a stove of this size. The Winnerwell stove listed above is substantially smaller, but its weight is similar to this figure.
In terms of price, this is your best option; the stove is quite reasonable and well worth the money.
Accessories
The stove is simple, but its efficiency can be enhanced if purchased with the water kettle shown in the picture. It has a capacity of 2.5 litres, is made of stainless steel, is easy to clean, and is lightweight.
