This is what kind of tent it is.
This massive L-shaped construction requires a 16 by 16-foot ground area to set up. This explains why its name contains digits. This cabin-style tent has steep, straight walls and a partial flap.
Although the building is self-supporting, you should always stake it down correctly to set your mind at ease. The bundle includes stakes and guylines.
Instant design:
This is a fast setup; two individuals can raise this tent in about two minutes. It may appear excellent for such a massive structure, but this is due to the frame being pre-attached to the tent. It’s on my list of the most remarkable instant camping tents. The diagrams below depict the most crucial steps. As you can see, you unfold it before extending its telescopic poles.

Rooms:
The tent has three rooms separated by sewn-in panels (see image below). There are two 68-inch (173-cm)-high external doors and two inside doors. One of the external doors is inverted-T shaped, and the rest are massive D-shaped structures. So, all the rooms are interconnected, but you can close all the doors for privacy, and panels are throughout. This tent is on my list of the most excellent three-room tents.
There are a total of seven windows, all of which are double-layered with mesh and panels. The image below depicts how it appears on the inside:

Awning/porch:
Remember what I said about the shape of the awning/porch? So the flooring tent occupies 3/4 of the 16 × 16 feet, while 1/4 is outdoors beneath the awning/porch seen below. This is a fantastic addition because it expands the functional space and provides a spot to sit in the shade. This region is also partially protected from rain.
This awning/porch is a natural feature of the rain fly and cannot be removed. The pole shown for the awning is included in the box. As a result, I’ve included it in my list of the best cabin tents with a porch.
Who is it for?
The capacity is described by 12 in the name, and the total flooring space is 192 ft2 (17.8 m2). According to the floor plan, each room can accommodate four people. The rooms are now 8 × 8 feet (244 x 244 cm), so four sleeping pads can be placed on the floor. This justifies the declared capability.
This stated capacity is insufficient for family camping, but it is true of nearly all tents of this type and size on the market. As a result, I’ve included this tent in my list of the finest 12-person camping tents.
Also, each room is sufficiently big to accommodate a queen-sized bed. The tent may be suitable for three couples, but the corner room lacks its own entrance. In any event, this tent is capable of holding a large number of people. A large family with parents and 5-6 children can stay here. The image below illustrates that it provides the most privacy available.

Seasonally and climate-wise, this tent is for warm-weather camping, with a maximum of two seasons: summer, late spring, and early fall. The ceiling is entirely mesh, which is excellent for ventilation but not ideal for a colder environment.
It also has two enormous floor vents, as shown in the photos below. Because the vents are mesh, you are entirely safe from insects and snakes.

The illustration above explains how to connect a cooling system. However, you will be cooling the Universe from your pocket, as evidenced by the ceiling.
This is a substantial construction with a weight of 61 lb (28 kg). But don’t worry, the carry bag pictured below has wheels. The packed size is small and lengthy, as shown in the image below. Overall, this is a tent for locations with car access.

Materials
The poles
All of the poles in this tent are made of steel, which contributes to the tent’s weight. This is a sturdy and dependable structure. Telescopic poles are used. So when you extend them, you will hear a click, which will signal that the desired pole length has been achieved.
The fabric
The floor is 1000D thick polyethylene with a bathtub design that extends 6 inches above the ground on all sides. Because this is a welded construction, it is entirely dependable and waterproof.
The fly is made of 68D polyester with a PU coating and has a waterproof rating of 600 mm. The fly is attached to the main leg poles somewhere in the centre. The walls are made of the same substance. The seams are all taped. The mesh regions are not classified as no-see-um.
Also, the fabric used here meets the CPAI-84 flammability criteria.
Ventilation
There is nothing to complain about in terms of ventilation. I highlighted the numerous mesh windows, the massive mesh ceiling, and two vents. To clarify, those floor vents are 18 x 18 inches (46 x 46 cm) in size and 9 inches (23 cm) off the ground.
Other characteristics
- You have a power cord port, as seen below.
- There are multiple storage pouches on each of the three inside divisions, as seen in the image below.
- The kit includes 25 steel stakes.
